Akpallu

The Akpallu were, according to Assyrian legend, bearded, winged godlike beings, highly revered, who roamed Mesopotamia around 800 BCE. A winged genie is holding a small animal, symbolizing a captive demon, who is seen below, horned and yellow-eyed.
