Atash

Atash is one of the names for the Holy Fire, seen outside every Zoroastrian temple. Atash is the visible presence of Ahura Mazda, the creator deity of Zoroaster, its founder, who lived c. 1500 BCE in what was probably Azerbaijan. The followers are known as Zoroastrians in Iran and Parsees in India.
