Bird-Man

The Bird-Man has its counterpart in many Native American legends. However, his origins came from the Mississippian culture (c. 1000 – 1500 CE), where he was a supernatural deity who resided in the Upperworld with the spirits of the Sun, Moon, and Stars but was able to fly to the earth as a messenger.
