Didgeridoo

The Didgeridoo, still in existence, possibly the world’s oldest musical instrument, was developed by the Indigenous Peoples of northern Australia more than 1,000 years ago. Traditionally used in secret ceremonies, it is considered sacred even today and has recently gained widespread (and not necessarily liturgical) appeal with modern composers.
