Garuda, the king of birds in Hindu mythology, is a protector and messenger who carries Lord Vishnu and appears on the god’s banner. He is the symbol of Indonesian airlines and the Thai Royal family; however, in Mongolia, he is called Khangard, a servant of Yama, the god of death.
