Isaiah

Isaiah was a prophet who supposedly wrote part or all of the Book of Isaiah in the Old Testament. The most beloved verse is probably 49:16: “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands.” The sculpture shows the hand of God sheltering a sufferer in the palm of his hand.
