Krishna

Krishna, a Hindu god of India, is also known throughout Southeast Asia. The people there, though predominantly Buddhist, also revere Hindu gods. Krishna, the god of love and compassion, is traditionally depicted playing the flute of his Indian homeland but when he appears in Thailand he wears a Thai costume.
