Litjoko Doll

The Litjoko Doll is a tribal fetish made by Karajá women of central Brazil’s Bananal Island, the world’s largest inland river island. The doll, with exaggerated female characteristics, is said to contain mystical power, and mothers give them to their daughters to help them familiarize themselves with procedures like childbirth.
