Minrva
Italy
Minrva, the Etruscan goddess of war (equivalent to the Roman Minerva), wearing a warrior’s helmet and shield, was a votive offering placed in a tomb. The Etruscans were in Italy from c. 800 to c. 300 BCE, but little is known about them; their language is largely undeciphered, and even their origins are disputed.
This entity appears in the story “12. The Heathens Are Expelled”.
