Moldova Goddesses are part of the Cuceteni-Trypillia culture (5500 to 2750 BCE) centered in Moldova. Because their settlements were ritually destroyed every 60 or so years, little is known of the people; however, thousands of female figurines (“goddesses”) have been found.
