Mongolian Shaman

Mongolia

The Mongolian Shaman holds an axe, a symbol of military power, in one hand, and a pagoda, a symbol of religious authority, in the other. Shamans at the time of Ghenghis Khan were warriors who led armies into battle, but they were also influenced by Buddhist lamas.

This entity appears in the story “9. Levitation Sunday”.
