Ojibwe Dreamcatcher

Ojibwe Dreamcatchers, usually hung as mobiles, were traditionally used as talismans to protect sleeping people (mostly children) from bad dreams. Their nightmares were trapped by the weaving while good dreams passed through and gently slid down the feathers to comfort the sleeper below.
