Shaman Whistle

Shaman Whistle

Mexico

The Shaman Whistle has a dual purpose. The first is the elaborate headdress, which is actually a whistle (the mouthpiece is behind the legs and the four finger holes are on the torso) and was used during funerary rites and similar ceremonies. The second is the shaman. He has bloodstained tools in both hands, probably from rituals involving human sacrifices.

This entity appears in the story “3. Tribal Music”.
