Sleipnir, in Norse mythology, was the eight-legged shamanic horse ridden by the revered god Odin on his journeys throughout the Nine Worlds hidden in Yggdrasil. The steed, dressed in an elaborate harness made of bronze and gold, was referred to as “the best of all horses.”
