Saint Dymphna

Saint Dymphna, born in the 600s in Ireland, is the patron saint of the insane and incest victims. A devout Christian, she fled to Belgium to escape the incestuous advances of her pagan father, where she built a hospital. Her Dad came to bring her back to Ireland and murdered her when she refused to go.
