Saint Peter

Saint Peter was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ and the first leader of the Early Church. He is usually depicted with a key in his hands because Jesus said to Peter, in one of the most familiar sayings of the New Testament, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.”
