Saint Willibrord spent his later life in Luxembourg and died in 739 CE. His miracles include curing epilepsy and the plague. Stern and unrelenting, he threatened bottomless pits for sinners and deviants, yet thousands now attend the annual procession of holy dancers held in his honor at Echternach, where he is buried.
