The Prophet

The Prophet Muhammad, born in Mecca around 570 CE, died in Medina in 632 CE, was the founder of Islam. His life and teachings are the basis of the Koran; his followers are now in the billions. His spirit sometimes visits the world’s loveliest mosques where, even if he’s left his earthly body, he remembers to leave his sandals at the doorway as he enters.
