Traditional Crucifix

The Traditional Crucifix, depicting an image of Jesus on the cross, is a principal symbol of the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches. Lutheran and Anglican Churches employ it as well, but the symbol is less common in other Protestant denominations, which prefer to use a cross without the figure of Jesus.
