Ebisu

Ebisu is one of the Seven Japanese Gods of Fortune, even though he was born without arms, legs, or even bones, according to some stories. He was rejected by his mother and thrown into the sea. He was eventually washed ashore smiling, holding a large fish, thus becoming the god of fisherfolk.
