Our Lady of Fátima

Our Lady of Fátima is revered by pilgrims who visit her basilica in Portugal. In 1917, three village children of Fátima witnessed apparitions of the Virgin Mary, wearing a mantle edged with gold and holding a rosary in her hand. She asked them to pray and say the rosary. The site is now a place of pilgrimage.
